Course selection
Your course selection listed in a Learning Agreement should be enclosed with the application. You will find more information throught the on-line application system. Your selection of courses must be approved by your home university. When selecting courses, remember that 30 ECTS credits make a full semester.
Letter of Acceptance
For visa purposes, we will send a Letter of Acceptance to nominated students from partner universities outside EU/EES only.
To students from partner universities within EU/EES, we will send confirmation of acceptance through e-mail only. If you are a student from a partner university within the EU/EES and you need a Letter of Acceptance, please contact us at international@hv.se and request one.
Knowledge of English
At University West we do not require an English linguistic test for exchange students. However, to be able to follow the lectures and participate in seminars and groupworks, a good knowledge of English is recommended. For students from some of our partner universities outside Europe we require a certain level of English, which you will receive information about when applying for exchange studies.

Please note that the International Office administers exchange students from existing exchange programmes only, unfortunately we do not have the possibility to receive free movers.
International master students can apply through the Admissions Office to enroll in our English taught Master´s programmes.
University West is not represented by recruitment agencies, as this would be in breach of Swedish law. All communication with University West must be personal, any claim to the contrary is fraudulent!
