In this course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of advanced techniques and challenges in the field of control systems for electric vehicles. You will delve into the principles and applications of vector control and explore the principles for charging an energy storage. We will explore the fundamental principles of inverters and discuss key factors that impact their performance and efficiency. The course also highlights specific challenges and difficulties related to motor control and DC/DC charging.
Industry and academy
This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness. We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the entry requirements for the course. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree with a major in electrical engineering or equivalent. The first-cycle program shall include at least 3 credits in programming and 15 credits in mathematics. English 6.
You also need approved result from the following course/courses: ELD500-Power Electronics and Electric Drive Systems or the equivalent.
