Why did you apply to us at University West?

I had always wanted to study abroad, so when I found this University that had both the programme that I wanted to study, Master in Manufacturing Engineering, and was located in a beautiful nature area, it was a very easy decision for me.

Why did you apply to the Master in Manufacturing Engineering?

I enjoy a combination of practical and theoretical work, and this programme offers both.

What is the most exciting you have done during the studies?

Learning how to work with, and program industrial robots at the Production Technology Center was definitely a highlight.

Can you describe the environment/culture at the unviersity?

Trollhättan is a small city, because of this everything is within walking distance and it has a very cozy feeling. Besides that, the city is surrounded by nature which is perfect for hikes.

What do you think about the student life in Trollhättan?

Unfortunately due to Corona I haven’t been able to attend large student parties, but the bars and smaller parties that I have been to have been lots of fun, especially because you’re surrounded by students from all over the world.

How do you think the studies here at University West and your programme can help you to reach your goals?

The education that we received was both practical and theoretical making me a well-rounded engineer. Besides that, due to the internationality of the students, I’m able to work with engineers from all around the world.
