From football and volleyball to yoga and gym sessions—there’s something for everyone. Contact the student union to find out more about current student groups organizing sport events or visit local fitness centers and make use of your student discounts: Outside Gym, STC, Arena Älvhögsborg
Student Union Socials (organized by the Student Union)
Game nights, themed parties, and casual hangouts organized by the Student Union. These events are a great way to relax and connect after classes.
After every exam period, they host a big Post-Exam Party.
The Student Union has around 8 committees, each with weekly meetings where you can get involved, share ideas, and help create events for other students. The Student Union building includes a pub, a club, and office facilities to support you and your committee work.

CU@4 (organized by University West)
Experience the Swedish tradition of fika—coffee and pastries—while meeting new friends in a relaxed setting. Despite the name, this event happens every Tuesday at 16:00. You can play board games, chat, and connect with other students.

Every Wednesday on campus, improve your Swedish skills with free lessons for international students.

Buddy Programme (organized by University West)
Sign up at the start of the semester to join a buddy group! You’ll receive weekly updates with events and activities you can do together—like excursions to see moose, trying Swedish traditions, nature experiences, visiting Christmas markets, and more. The university loves seeing your photos from these adventures!
