This course gives an introduction to IT- and OT-security (information technology and operation technology, ie. process control), with a special focus on industrial production systems. It covers IT security, especially threats to production systems, and how a security system can be setup with the help of both technical methods like authentication and access control, as well as with non-technical methods like laws, regulations, standards, and education.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Degree of Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and management. Additionally, the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 5 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. Verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English 6 in the Swedish Upper Secondary School (high school) or equivalent.
