The course provides an introduction to professional ethics, and scientific communication within engineering science. Students examine ethical frameworks, professional responsibility, and discuss ethical issues related to engineering practice. The course further addresses the engineer's role in sustainable development and introduces scientific methodology, writing, data presentation, and reference management systems within engineering science.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent. English course 6 or English level 2 in the Swedish upper secondary school or equivalent.
