Global Health in an era of Sustainable Development, 7.5 hp
This course introduces global health in relation to the UN sustainable development goals. Basic concepts and measures relevant to global health are studied together with the UN sustainable development goals in order to contribute to an understanding of how these can be useful to deal with current health challenges worldwide. The course offers an international course environment, including an independent work addressing local health challenges to be discussed with students in other parts of the world and how they address similar health challenges. The course is given in collaboration with international partner universities.
