There is an ongoing digitalisation of societies all around the world, and this has brought about an explosive growth in the use of robots and automation solutions, a development that implicates not only industry but entire cultures. This course package of 31.5 ECTS offers you in-depth knowledge of smart factories and prepare you well for contributing to their development. You learn design and programming of industrial robots and automation systems. The courses include laboratory exercises where you will work with real equipment related to the course such as Industrial robots, PLC’s and sensors, or all integrated which will provide you with state of the art knowledge and hands-on experience. The entire programme has been created through collaboration between the industry and researchers at University West.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Degree of Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management. Additionally the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 5 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. Verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English B/English 6 in the Swedish Upper Secondary School (high school) or equivalent.
