Lantmannavägen 12 & 14
Exchange students coming to study at University West are offered accommodation at Lantmannavägen 12 & 14 arranged by the municipal landlord Eidar Housing AB in cooperation with University West.
Most of our international students rent their room or private apartment at Lantmannavägen in the Kronogården neighborhood. Here Eidar offers 144 rooms in 75 apartments spread over two separate buildings, at a convenient bus and bicycle distance from University West (2 km).
At Lantmannavägen 12 & 14 there are both rooms in shared apartments where you live together with 1 other student (of the same gender), and private apartments where you live on your own. All apartments/rooms at Lantmannavägen are furnished and the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils. Laundry facilities are located in a separate building right next to the accommodation and both buildings are equippd with a lift.
Rent and contracts
The rent for a private apartment (52-65 m2) is between SEK 5,300 and 6,700 a month. The rent for a room (10-12 m2) in a shared apartment (64-79 m2) is about SEK 4,700 a month. The contract and rent are fixed for the full semester/academic year. Internet, heating, electricity and water is included in the rent. The rent is paid on a monthly basis.

Students accepted for full semester studies or full academic year studies who are unable to arrive before the start of the semester must still pay rent from start of the semester as per above.
General conditions
- The accommodation is for students registered for exchange studies at University West only.
- Sharing room intended for one person is not allowed.
- The student accommodation is not available for families, couples (where the partner is not studying) or children.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden in the apartments and in the buildings
Special conditions
- Students who are required to pay tuition fees, need to have paid the tuition fee before the set deadline
- For ISEP students: the conditions agreed upon with the ISEP coordinator at University West apply.
