Why we exist
This is a description of the reasons why we exist and the way we conduct education and research.
From the very beginning, interdisciplinary collaboration has been at the heart of our operations – in terms of both education and research.
The needs of our students and society take centre stage. We work to help our students become critically reflective, engaged social citizens with the skills that society needs.
We want to create the right conditions for academia and the surrounding society to come together, and for theoretical and practical knowledge to flow between them. In this way, we will create useful new knowledge together for the benefit of everyone, enabling us to make a real difference. We call this Work Integrated Learning, WIL, and this is also our overall profile.
