Import AI course in to the Canvas course

The course is structured to take approximately 1–2 hours to complete and includes quizzes after each part to support your understanding. It is available in both Swedish and English.

Important to note:

By integrating this course into your teaching, you establish that AI use is permitted as a study tool throughout the course and the wider programme. Read more on the page 'For teachers: to consider before use' which is included in the module when you add the AI course to Canvas.

Three ways to use the course

1. As an introduction

   Ask students to complete the course early in their studies or at the start of the course. Follow this with a discussion linked to your subject-specific questions.

2. As a shared reference

   Use the course as a foundation to return to during the course, for example when you are working with: writing assignments, information searching or source evaluation.

3. As a starting point for deeper learning
   Link parts of the course to your subject and content, for example: "hallucinations" in relation to scientific reliability or "prompting" in relation to problem-solving or analysis.

Course on academic honesty

Did you know there is also an introductory course on 'Academic Honesty' for students? This can also be added to Canvas and is suggested for students after the AI course.
  

Add (import) the AI course to your Canvas course:

1. Go to Canvas and click on Commons in the left black menu
2. Search for: 'AI Essentials: A Student Module'
3. Select Import/Download from right hand menu
4. Find the course that you want to import to
5. Import to course
6. Imports begin. The course ends up as a separate module in your course. Read through the page that was included in the module 'For teachers: to consider before use'
