Modified course menu in Canvas

The survey Student barometer, showed that courses in Canvas are perceived as difficult to navigate. As part of the effort to make it easier for students, the course menu will be modified. This will be available in the autumn Canvas courses.
The menu items that will be visible by default are Home - Announcements - Syllabus - Assignments - Discussions - Grades - People. The remaining menu items will be hidden. However, this does not prevent you from presenting them in a visible position if desired. This can be done in the course's Settings under the Navigation tab.
