News in Canvas: Course Accessibility Checker

You can now get help with checking and then fixing accessibility issues in your Canvas course with the click of a button. This could be, for example, images that lack alternative text or colors that are difficult to read.
A new tab is now available in the course navigation: Accessibility. With it, you can scan the course and get a graph showing how many and what type of issues there are. You also get guidance on how to fix the issues.
The accessibility checker in the text editor remains and works the same as before. Read about both checkers in the guide: Accessibility checker
