As a teacher, you have opportunities to support the development of your students' academic literacy. Academic literacy, which includes reading, writing, critical thinking, discussion and presentation, is subject-specific. Together, we can highlight how knowledge is communicated in different forms. The language resource center can inform about how to work with academic reading, academic writing and speaking, and you contribute knowledge about the subject-specific language.

We offer lectures and workshops for groups based on your needs. Some examples are: introducing reading of course literature, progression in students' writing and different types of response to text. We can also be a critical friend when you formulate course notes, instructions and examination tasks.

We also offer lectures and workshops on reading, writing and rhetoric, aimed for students. Together with you as a techer, we develop suitable content based on the current course. Students also have the opportunity to book various types of individual tutoring.
