In case of theft – this is what you do
All thefts in University West's premises must be reported to the police! Here you will find the procedures that apply in the event of theft.
If you discover the theft, you must:
- Make a police report
- Inform the university's "Section campus" by e-mail: servicecenter@hv.se or phone 0520-223000.
The Campus section then notifies the departments or divisions concerned.

Can be done:
- Via the police's website
- By phone on telephone number: 114 14 (NB no area code)
Facilitate a possible technical investigation
If the police need to carry out a technical investigation, it is important that things are not moved - unless there is a risk of further damage occurring.
Theft of private property
Theft of private property from both staff and students on University West's premises is not covered by the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency's insurance.
