Flee

Flee and get yourself into safety, but only if you have a safe way out.

Seek shelter (lockdown)

If you cannot flee, find a place that you consider safe and that provides you with protection. If possible: Lock or barricade the door, turn off the lights, close the blinds/curtains, and take cover so that you are not visible. Information about lockdown is/will be available in each teaching and examination hall.

Alert

Once you have fled or found a safe place, call the police via 112. Be helpful and answer the emergency operator’s questions.

Set your phone to silent and turn off vibration, and stay quiet while waiting for help. Do not call anyone who might be in the risk area. The mobile signal could reveal a person who is hiding.

Web training: How you ought to act in the event of a terrorist attack

MSB and the Police have developed an online training course to increase knowledge of how to stay safe, as well as how to help others, in a dangerous situation such as a terrorist attack. The training takes 15-30 minutes to complete.
