Economy
Our research is based on the extensive structural changes that Swedish society is undergoing, changes that are driven by rapid digital development, changing demographic conditions and the need to transition to more sustainable production systems and societal structures.
The cluster's focus is on understanding and analysing ongoing societal changes and what new demands these developments place on how companies and organisations are formed, governed and communicate with the outside world.
The cluster offers an inclusive research environment with a strong focus on scientific quality, a culture that emphasizes research as a collective activity and actively promotes critically reflective and socially relevant research. We have extensive experience of collaboration with actors from the surrounding society locally, nationally and internationally, and we are also an active part of the international scientific community. Our researchers are part of the public debate and contribute to highlighting, problematizing and discussing the conditions for how we can shape and organizations and activities that can meet the challenges of the future.
