Department Board

The Department Board (IN) is a collegial board that has the overall responsibility for quality in education and research at the department. The responsibility is exercised in dialogue with the department management and the Research and Education Board (FUN).

The department board consists of teachers and students. Most of the teachers should have scientific competence and at least one of the students should be a doctoral student. Teachers are appointed through departmental elections for a term of office of three years. Students are appointed by the Student Union, for the term of office determined by the Student Union.

In order to promote dialogue on issues related to quality work in education and research at the Department of Economics and IT, it is recommended to contact the Chair and Vice Chair of the Department Board if these issues are not intended to be formally addressed during the Board's meetings.
