Informatics and Media

We explore, design and review the role of technology in society, with a particular emphasis on areas such as artificial intelligence, interactive digital media, animation, visual communication, social platforms and immersive media, and how they are developed and applied in areas such as government, education, healthcare. Through close collaboration between academia and the surrounding society, we work within the cluster to develop innovative design, strengthen knowledge exchange and promote the development of meaningful practices. The cluster also offers an inspiring and dynamic environment for doctoral students and students, where critical thinking, creative problem-solving and practical application are at the center. Our researchers constitute an active voice in the public debate and contribute to making visible, problematizing and commenting on the consequences of digitalization for society.
