The School of Business, Economics and IT consists of four divisions which offer education within the fields of economics, political science, informatics, computer science and media. There are also a large number of single subject courses.
The research at the department involves work integrated learning, mostly with a focus on IT, as well as regional issues, cultural diversity, social change and accountancy regulation. The Laboratory for Interaction Technology, where research on informatics is conducted, is also linked to the department.
