Production Technology - one of our areas of strength
The industry's transition to a more sustainable production requires new technological solutions, new materials, and new ways of working. Our research and education environment in Production Technology work to meet these needs. Researchers, doctoral students, and students contribute with new knowledge and innovations that facilitate the significant technological transition.
Collaboration and Work-Integrated Learning are the foundation of our work. We collaborate with industry partners and other educational institutions in Sweden and internationally. Knowledge is created and flows in both directions between the academic environment and the business sector. This increases companies' competitiveness and simultaneously creates greater academic utility. It is societal benefit for us.
Our research and education are fully integrated with each other. This means that all our researchers teach, and many of our teachers conduct research. And this is done in close collaboration with the business sector and other stakeholders. As a student or collaboration partner of the University West, you will gain access to new knowledge and future technologies that make a difference for the industry.
