Education for good political judgement

This initiative brings together scholars working at the cutting edge of two fields: political judgement and work-integrated education, to address a critical knowledge gap around better preparing citizens to make good political judgements (or what different agencies in Sweden call “kloka beslut”). The aim of the workshop is to lay the foundation for a full-scale research proposal to support a long-term project on ‘good citizen judgement’. The workshop brings together international scholars in political judgement from the UK and Canada, alongside expertise at University West in work-integrated education, to build a bespoke, international and interdisciplinary team to co-define this new research field.
