Collaboration in Higher Education and Research in Production Technology with African Universities (ProAfrica)

In the Department of Engineering Science, the initiation grant entails expanded international collaboration in research and education in production technology. The STINT Africa project will see collaboration with Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (Kenya), Kyambogo University (Uganda) and the University of Buea (Cameroon). The project will establish a foundation for long-term collaboration between UW and the selected organizations, resulting in partnerships aligned with the forefront of international research and education. Examples of project activities are developing academic and industrial networks and promoting joint activities in sustainable education and research.
