REPAM - Resource efficient materials for additive manufacturing
REPAM aims to include the circular thinking during the whole material chain in the improvement of material design, use and recycling.
Feedstock materials are widely not designed to work for AM processes regarding complex thermal cycles and high temperature experiences and are not designed to be efficiently recycled. Therefore, REPAM will include the circular thinking during the whole material chain in the improvement of material design, use and recycling. The REPAM project covers the entire process chain, from material development to feedstock production, manufacturing, and recycling, attempting to achieve the vision of enabling resource-efficient feedstock processing routes for additive manufacturing by reducing the virgin feedstock usage, and promoting reuse of waste or recycled materials through innovations in material design, processing production and recycling.
