Offer a sustainable and energy efficient solution for responsible extraction and processing of Titanium together with other Primary Raw and Critical Raw Materials from strategic partner country Ukraine to supply EU industrial value chains and strategic sectors with a net zero-waste approach. The titanium powder supplied from Ukraine will thereafter be evaluated in four different user cases. One user case is led by University West where UW will manufacture a aerospace demonstrator component, defined by GKN Aerospace, using powder bed fusion additive manufacturing and Ti-powder from the Urkaine supplier. The demonstrator part will thereafter also be additive manufactured using a conventional available Ti-powder, and the properties will be compared.
