FECRALCLAD - Svetsbarhet och korrosionsbeständighet av nya FeCrAl-legeringar
This project aims at developing new FeCrAl-alloys, weldable and designed for overlay welding in very high temperature applications under strong corrosion and oxidizing environments. The scientific outcome is not only expected to increase the knowledge at the research group PTW but also to strengthen the collaboration with participating companies. The project will improve the understanding on how chemical composition influences weldability as well as oxidation and corrosion performance at high temperature under different furnace environments. The influence and effects of dilution on the chemical composition, cracking susceptibility and final properties will be also studied.
