Validation of Förflyttningsstegen

The research project aims to validate the assessment tool Förflyttningsstegen. The assessment tool was developed within clinical physiotherapy for use at Värnamo Hospital in the early 2000s, but there is currently no up‑to‑date validation of the tool. However, Förflyttningsstegen is already being used by physiotherapists in Värnamo Municipality.

As part of the research project, the usability and validity of Förflyttningsstegen will be examined for both physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

The research project is carried out in collaboration between University West and Värnamo Municipality. From University West, Kristina Areskoug Josefsson (Professor) participates, and from Värnamo Municipality, the participants are Celina Lupinska (Physiotherapist), Jeanette Ringberg (Physiotherapist), Sofie Fredriksson (MAR), and Peter Thelander (Unit Manager).
