I am a research student researching work-integrated language learning. My study object is combination courses, which is a form of education within Swedish adult education (Komvux) where migrants learn Swedish and a profession in an integrated program.
How my research can make a difference
My research interest focuses on the opportunities for language learning for newly arrived migrants and how they can be prepared for the labour market.
Teaching/supervision
I primarily teach in the subject teacher program courses focused on literacy development and content and language integrated learning courses for Swedish as a second language. I also supervise thesis work within the teacher programs. I have extensive experience working as a subject teacher in Swedish as a second language, Swedish, and English at the upper secondary school level.
