Organization

Staff member at Division of Informatics.
Senior Lecturer and Researcher in the field of Informatics-Information Systems (IS).

My research focuses on the intersection of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Grounded primarily in ethnographic methods, my work explores the use of information systems in information-intensive organizations and broader societal contexts, with studies conducted in Sweden, Australia, and Greece.

Current projects extend to workplace learning and the digital transformation of workplaces and societies. Latest research emphasizes the HCI dimensions of technology, especially AI in everyday work, exploring how innovations shape social interaction, advantages, and inequalities.

My work has been published in IS venues including IRIS, HCI, CSCW, and the Learning Organization Journal, among others. I am actively involved in the academic community, serving as an Associate Chair and reviewer for the ACM SIGCHI Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work & Social Computing (CSCW), the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), the International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS), the International ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) and other conferences and journals.

Teaching spans bachelor’s and master’s levels courses in informatics, both on-campus and online. Further, I supervise theses at master's and bachelor's level in Informatics/Information Systems, W-I-L and Interaction Design, and I am qualified to supervise doctoral dissertations too.
