Work-Integrated Learning, management and organization.
The emergence of new smart digital technologies in recent decades has forced individuals and organizations across all sectors to adapt to Industry 4.0 (I4.0) to remain competitive. The focus has primarily been on productivity and efficiency, which has resulted in people being pushed into the background.
Industry 5.0 (I5.0) complements I4.0 by putting people at the center, where the technology is supposed to support employees by reducing dangerous and demanding tasks and enabling collaboration between humans and robots. Consequently, my research takes a holistic approach to the new competencies required in the era of I5.0 from both an employee and a leadership perspective.
My teaching responsibilities focus on supervising bachelor’s and master’s students in information system and work-integrated learning, as well as teaching with a focus on leading change and collaboration.
