Rashid Ali is working as a Lecturer at the Division of Mathematics, Computer and Surveying Engineering, University West, Sweden. Subsequently, he obtained M.S. degrees in Computer Science and Informatics from University West, Sweden, and his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Yeungnam University, South Korea, in 2019.
Rashid''s career journey includes roles as a WiMAX Engineer at Wateen Telecom Private Ltd., Pakistan, and a Lecturer at COMSATS University, Pakistan. With over five years of experience, he has excelled in research, academia, and industry in information and communication engineering and computer science.
He has also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Yeungnam University and as an Assistant Professor at Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea. Rashid has been a distinguished Marie Skodowska-Curie Research Fellow in the Wireless Networking Group at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, from 2021 to 2023.
