I am an associate professor of political science in the International Program in Politics and Economics. My research interests range from international humanitarian law, Turkish constitutional law, and European human rights regime to political leadership and cinematic representation of sexual violence in Turkey. It centers around issues of gender and politics. My current projects focus on sexual violence, particularly on rape cultures.
I teach courses in international politics, and political science research, theory, and methods in addition to supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses.
