I am a senior lecturer in social science specializing in international migration, integration, sustainable development, and gender studies. My research focuses on migration, identity, spatial belonging, but also gender and sustainability. I have taught a wide range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Sweden in a Post-Colonial WorldTheories of International RelationsGlocal Challenges, and Sustainable Development and Ethics, Political Perspectives of Gender and Sexuality. I have also coordinated master’s programs and contributed to curriculum development, fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments. 

At University West, I have been a member of the Center for Sustainability, where I collaborate with stakeholders to address sustainability challenges. I have also served on the university’s working group for gender mainstreaming and equal terms, contributing to initiatives that promote inclusivity and equity in education and research.
