The application Skype for Business connects phone calls, instant messaging and video conferencing in a single tool. This makes it possible to talk, share desktops and applications, and to collaborate in real-time directly from your computer between you and those you work with. Everything is integrated with Office, so that documents, calendar and e-mail can be accessed from a single location. Please note that Skype for Business and Skype is not the same thing.
If you wish to speak when you are using Skype for Business, we recommend using a headset.
To log in to Skype for Business, enter your username followed by @student.hv.se. This may look like this: firstname.lastname@example.org Then enter your ordinary password.

How do I install Skype for Business on my private computer?
Skype for Business is part of the version of Office that is installed on any university pc. If you want to install on your own PC do the following:
- Log on to MyPage / Office 365.
- Click on the "cog wheel" in the upper right corner.
- Click "Office 365 settings".
- Go to Settings.
- Click on Software.
- Download Skype for Business and follow the instructions.
When you start Skype for Business for the first time after the installation, you will be asked to fill out a license code. (For PC only) To find the code-> click here.
