WiFi - eduroam for Google Chromebook
Installation Guide for Wireless Network
Requirements for installing eduroam:
- That you have a University West account
- That you have verified your identity. You can verify your identity in the Service Center or at the web address mittkonto.hv.se. (If you have a West card you have already verified your identity.) Read about how you can verify your identity on the web here.
Install eduroam:
A. If you are on campus: Go to wireless networks on your computer. Select HV GUEST. A window with information about HV-GUEST pops up, close that window. Open the Google Chrome web browser and go to eduroam.hv.se Follow the on-screen instructions.
Please note! When you log in to eduroam, you log in with your UW account. A warning may come up and then you must approve.
B. If you are in another place where there are networks that you have access to: Go to wireless networks on your computer. Connect to the network you have access to. Open the Google Chrome web browser, go to eduroam.hv.se and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once you have installed eduroam, your device will connect to eduroam as soon as you are in the range of an eduroam network.
