WiFi - eduroam for PC

Requirements for installing eduroam:

• That you have a University West account
  
  
• That you have verified your identity. You can verify your identity in the Service Center or at the web address mittkonto.hv.se. (If you have a West card you have already verified your identity.) Read about how you can verify your identity on the web here.

Install eduroam:

A. If you are at campus: Go to wireless networks on your computer (far down to the right). Select HV GUEST, a web page about wifi pops up, choose eduroam and follow the on-screen instructions. (If the web page does not pop up, start a web browser and go directly to eduroam.hv.se)

Please note! When you log in to eduroam, you log in with your UW account. At one point you should download a file. Sometimes you can run it at once but sometimes you have to save it first. A warning may come up and then you must approve. 

B. If you are in another place where there are networks that you have access to: Go to wireless networks on your computer (far down to the right). Connect to the network you have access to. Open a web browser and go to eduroam.hv.se and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once you have installed eduroam, your device will connect to eduroam as soon as you are in the range of an eduroam network.
