Arrival Days

If you arrive before August 25th and/or have accommodation with the university, you are responsible for your stay and getting to the university. If you have questions about how to get here you can email us at international@hv.se.

Times
We will have staff and student ambassadors stationed at Landvetter Airport, Gothenburg Train Station, Trollhättan Train Station, and University West guiding you to your destination. Below are the times that we will be on site:

• August 25th, 10:00-20:00
• August 26th, 10:00-16:00

If you arrive outside of these times, we cannot guarantee a person on site to assist you in getting to your destination.

Key Pick-Up
During these dates and times you can pick up your keys, pillow, and blanket from the accommodation table at University West. The table is located on first floor near the F3 exit. You can find a map to the university here.

Times
No worries if you are not able to arrive during the Arrival Days. From August 27-29 we will have Introduction Days for new international students. You can meet us on campus from 9:00-16:00.

Unfortunately, we will not have staff and student ambassadors at Landvetter, Gothenburg Train Station, and Trollhättan Train Station after our Arrival Days. You can find the instructions to get to Trollhättan through here.

Key pick-up
You have a few ways to pick up your keys from us:

• If you arrive to the university from August 27-29 (9:00-16:00) you can pick up your keys from our accommodation table near the F3 entrance.
• If you arrive to the university during the week days starting September 1 (9:00-16:00), you can pick up your keys from the university's service center.
• If you arrive outside of our office hours (weekends or after 16:00), you must contact us at accommodation@hv.se 2 working days in advance, so we can assign a student ambassador to meet you at the Trollhättan Train Station with your keys.
