Inslussningen Kick-off FAQ

Everyone, both new and returning students, is welcome to participate, regardless of whether you are a Student Union member or not.

To take part in some competitions, however, you must be a new student.

A valid student ID is required to attend the evening events.

Most events during Inslussningen don't require registration. However, the ones that do are marked with a ticket icon in the schedule.

Tickets are purchased via the Orbi app and you can find more information on the the Student Union website and on their Instagram account @Inslussningen.

Our aim is for all events to be completely free or as affordable as possible for students. That’s why most activities are free of charge.

In some cases, there may be a small entry fee for the student pub, but if you are a Student Union member, entrance is free. Other activities may have a cost-price fee, meaning you only pay the actual cost for, for example, your own materials or food.

Absolutely not! There are always alternatives like soda, water, coffee, and other tasty options.

At events where alcohol is available, there will always be sober mentors (nykterphaddrar) present, so that everyone can feel comfortable, and able to participate on their own terms.

There are many benefits! You support the work of the Student Union, get free coffee and access to discounts, cheaper entry to events at DeCore, support in case of problems, and the chance to influence student life and what SHV works for. Want to know more? Visit the SHV website.

During the Inslussningen Kick-off, you can become a member at the Student Union booth during the day, at DeCore in the evening, or online via SHV’s website.

No, it’s not mandatory, but if you skip it, you’ll have to wait an entire year for the next opportunity. So why not make the most of it?

They are mentors (phaddrar) from the Student Union and you’ll meet them during the Inslussningen Kick-off. Their goal is to make sure everyone feels welcome, safe, and has a great time.

You’ll find them at all Union-organized activities, where they are available to help guide new students during the events and through the start of their university life.
