Exchange students from partner universities are automatically registered. 

Students who has applied for studies at University West through need to sign up for their study start at the Service Center on campus.


The schedule is published two weeks before the course starts. You will find it on the course portal DisCo.

Introduction Days

If you are admitted to one of our courses or programmes taught in English, University West arrange General Introduction Days for all international students at the start of the semester. Attendance is mandatory. Please read more about this at

Access information on course material for your courses

Through the course tool DisCo you will get access to material, related to the courses you are taking, schedule and literature list. You login to DisCo by logging in at My Page . In Disco, you will also find contact information for teachers to whom you can turn for questions related to the contents on your course. For other questions, please contact Service Center.

West card and Pay-Ex account – for students studying on campus

In order to access rooms at the university, borrow books from the library, print, copy or borrow technical equipment you will need the West card (Västkortet). You will receive a form to apply for this during Introduction Days. As the university does not accept cash, you will also need to create a personal PayPal-account in order to top-up money and pay for your printouts.

Self service

At My Page you will find information from the student records administrative system, and you will be able to print certificates for your studies, view which courses you are registered on and verify or update your contact information.
