Internship placement through IAESTE
IAESTE Sweden is a non-profit organisation that facilitates internships in more than 80 countries, primarily for students in engineering, natural sciences, and architecture. The internships can range from 2 to 18 months in length and are suitable for university-level students regardless of year of study. In some cases, it is possible to combine the internship with a thesis project.
IAESTE assists you with arranging work and residence permits, tax matters, and insurance. The local IAESTE committee in the host country arranges accommodation and leisure activities. As a trainee, you usually receive a monthly salary that covers your living expenses and provides some extra spending money. You are responsible for covering travel costs, accommodation, any visa fees, and insurance.
