The Thailand-WACE Organizing Committee for the 20th World Conference June 5-8, 2017 wishes to announce the fourth Call for Abstracts and registration. The deadline to submit an abstract for a Refereed Paper is January 22, 2017. The 20th World Conference will be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand and hosted through the alliance of TACE and our four Global Partners in Thailand: Suranaree University of Technology, Siam University, Sripatum University and Western Digital, Thailand. The host university will be Chiang Mai University. The World Conference theme "New Challenges for CWIE in the 21st Century" was chosen to help stimulate a global conversation about the opportunities and challenges facing CWIE programs. Building upon the success of previous World Conferences and International Research Symposia, the Organizing Committee seeks a robust mixture of papers, workshops, panel discussions and academic posters that address the conference theme and identified special topics. Please review the information in the Call of Abstracts for specific information detailing types of presentations and applicable due dates for abstracts.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS There is a "Rolling Review & Acceptance" for all submitted abstracts. You will receive notification of your abstract's status from the WACE Secretariat within two weeks of your original submission. Please do not submit more than one abstract as the Main Presenter (although you can be included as a Supporting Presenter for other presentations). We would like to encourage and allow as many people as possible to present a session. Thank you for your cooperation!

1. REFEREED PAPER Refereed Papers are those that are written with the intention of being published in the online WACE Conference Proceedings or an academic journal subsequent to the conference. The review of the final paper will be conducted through a double-blind review process. Refereed Papers can be submitted as either a Quantitative or Qualitative RESEARCH Paper (describing research into aspects of cooperative & work-integrated education) or a DISCUSSION Paper (review of relevant literature and/or discussion of innovative cooperative & work-integrated education practice or programs). With the approval of the authors, all Refereed Papers will be included in the online Conference Proceedings. The online Conference Proceedings will contain an assigned ISBN.
Refereed Paper Guidelines:
If the abstract is accepted, a full paper must be submitted no later than Febuary 5. 2017 for the double-blind review process, in which the paper will be critiqued by a team of international reviewers who will submit completed evaluation forms to the WACE Secretariat, which may contain recommendations for improvement (to be conveyed to author(s)). Because of the tight time frame between the January 22 abstract deadline and the February 5 full paper deadline, please consider submitting your abstract early, as you will allow yourself more time to complete the full paper.
