Emerging Interaction Technologies

We explore in what shape information can, could, or should hit the human body and mind to offer the most useful, power-enhancing, and/or fun experience. We often do this by combining interaction platforms and mechanisms still in flux, such as Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and biometric sensing (e.g. eye-tracking).
We like to think we contribute to the rethinking of how humans and (intelligent) systems can relate to each other. Testing of prototypes takes place both at partner sites (e.g. production industry; public places) and in the Open Lab. We publish in areas such as Human-Computer Interaction/User Experience (UX) and Artificial Intelligence.
