We welcome LINA member to apply for LINA funding 2022!

This year’s call priorities Research and publication support, Research initiatives and activities designed to strengthen and develop the centre for activity theory at University west.

To apply for any of the calls you need to have an approval from your department manager!


Research and publication support

Could be applied for continuously during 2022. This call includes activities such as conference expenses, language check, translation, publications cost professional development

An application should include the following:

  • Clear argumentation of the suggested activities meets the evaluation criteria's including its relevance for AIL
  • Short activity plan, including time plan and budget
  • Target group for the activities suggested
  • Expected results

 The application will be evaluated based on the following criteria's:

  • Viability in relation to the design, time and resources described in the application
  • Relevance in relation to the aim and intentions of the call
  • Expected results both in terms of reach and output

Note that:

The conference must use the peer review process for submitted contributions

The submission must result in a conference publication (conference proceedings or equivalent)

The conference publication must be highly relevant with regard to the LINA environment's knowledge interests

The scientific value of the conference publication is set in relation to the costs of the trip and the environmental impact of the trip (carbon footprint)

When applying for support for language review, a cost proposal must be attached to the application.

An application that is granted LINA funding means that the applicant undertakes to, in collaboration with LINA's management, arrange a seminar on their own conference publication and other highlights and impressions from the conference.

Research initiatives

Activities designed to strengthen and develop the activity theory HUB at University west
