LINA hereby invites you to a series of seminars in autumn of 2020 with the purpose of jointly develop our ongoing academic text into publishable articles, book chapters or books.
Requirements for participating:
· Finalized your PHD, are employed at University West and are active as a researcher within the LINA community.
· That you by the 1 of September 2020 submits (by e-mail to email@example.com) a short paper
(minimum of 10 pages) including all parts required for a full paper (introduction, theory, method, findings, analysis, and possibly some suggestions for conclusions) and with a solid empirical base (enough field material, both in terms of quality and quantity, to allow for publication). However, this dose does not mean that everything needs to be ready and thought trough, on the contrary, developing and improving the papers is what we do during and between seminars.
· That you can commit to set aside enough time to both be able work with developing your own paper and to provide close reading and productive feedback to your peers.
As this is designed as a joint collegial project, we are dependent on each other to make this activity fruitful and worthwhile.
This means that all seminars are mandatory and that all participants, including the seminar organizer, needs to author a paper.
The seminar series include five seminars, were we on each occasion, discuss different sections of the papers (introduction, theory, method, findings, analysis/conclusions).
The half day seminars are schedule to start the first part of September, and thereafter take place every third week throughout the autumn. (the actual dates for the seminars will be set after consultation with participants to enable mandatory participation)
The number of papers processed in the seminar’s series are limited to four. However, in cases were a paper has more than one authors, all authors are of course welcome to participate.

If there are interests from more than four contributors with papers, we will selection papers based on contributors fit with the above criteria above and the order of submitted of interest.
