Academic Conference for Additive Manufacturing

Join this annual conference where researchers in Sweden unite in the field of Additive Manufacturing of Metals. Welcome to us at University West in Trollhättan on January 10-11!

This conference is arranged by the Swedish Arena for Additive Manufacturing of Metals, which is a network for collaboration with the goal to increase adoption and speed up sustainable industrialization of metal AM (coordinated by Swerim).

• The conference aims to reinforce the network of researchers from Sweden within the field of Additive Manufacturing of Metals.
• PhD students and Postdocs will be given an opportunity to present and highlight their most recent findings. You are welcome to submit one or more papers on the subject additive manufacturing. Abstract submission deadline: November 17. Upload your contribution here! 
• Invited talks from the international academic experts in the field of metal Additive Manufacturing. The conference program will be presented in December. In the program a site visit to the Production Technology Center in Trollhättan will also be included. Here you will get the chance to see the latest research on additive manufacturing at University West including state of the art laser powder bed fusion equipment, as well as the corresponding facilities of GKN Aerospace.

The conference is organised by The Swedish Arena for Additive Manufacturing of Metals. University West is hosting the conference, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Linköping University, Luleå University of Technology, and Swerim are co-organising.”
