Submissions and publications
The WIL26 allows submission of short papers of max 2000 words. Submitted papers will be blind peer reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee. The papers can be accepted for oral presentation (15 minutes, plus 5 minutes questions) or for poster presentation (physical poster presentation in a mingle session). All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISSN.
We want to reach out the invitation to PhD students to submit their work and indicate it as a PhD Student Paper in the submission system. PhD students are encouraged to submit original, unpublished work with the student listed as first author and presenting author for consideration for the Best PhD Student Paper Award. Papers will undergo the same peer review as regular submissions. The winner will be selected by the scientific committee and recognized at the conference dinner session. Submission guidelines, formatting, and eligibility deadlines follow the main CFP and the PhD student papers’ presentations are embedded and integrated in the ordinary parallel sessions.
After the conference, the authors of accepted papers will be invited to submit their full paper in the CIWIL Journal (Current Issues in Work-Integrated Learning) for a Special Issue of the theme “Embracing Diversity in Work-Integrated Learning Practices”.
