Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Min forskningsbakgrund är inom flera olika områden, bland annat fysik (halvledare, amorf kisel), teknologi (vindens dynamiska påverkan på byggnadskonstruktioner, vibrationskrypningar av armerad betong bal kvid icke-linjära deformationer). I dagsläget forskar jag i pedagogik och didaktisk matematik. Jag tar min utgångspunkt i Teori om didaktiska situationen i matematik (TDS), där läraren gör ämnet begripligt för studerande genom att fokusera på specifika aspekter av ämnesinnehållet.

Mitt förhållningssätt är att på bästa möjliga sätt befrämja lärandet hos mina studenter. Minskat intresse för matematik och teknik i kombination med stora undervisningsgrupper har inneburit en utmaning för mig som högskolelärare.

Undervisning/handledning

Jag är behörig lärare i matematik, fysik och teknologi, på gymnasie- och högskolenivå. Jag undervisar huvudsakligen i ämnet matematik på ingenjörsprogram på HV.

Jag har även undervisat i statistik, didaktisk matematik för lärare, fel teori för lantmäteri ingenjörer.
