Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Isabelle Choquets område är strömningsmekanik vid mycket höga temperaturer. Det innebär att hon studerar de fysikaliska fenomen som uppträder i till exempel elektriska ljusbågar. I sin forskning arbetar hon med modellering och simulering, vilket innebär att hon ställer upp ekvationer som beskriver de fysikaliska fenomenen. Dessa ekvationer är så komplicerade att de inte kan lösas utan datorhjälp.

Undervisning/handledning

Isabelle Choquet undervisar i termodynamik, värmeöverföring och strömningsmekanik på grundutbildningen för ingenjörer och på ett av Högskolan Västs magisterprogram.
