Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Den forskning som Lars Pejryd för närvarande är mest engagerad i gäller skärande bearbetning som svarvning och fräsning med mera.

Forskningen handlar bland annat om hur värme genereras i skärande bearbetning och hur man effektivt kan kontrollera den med kylteknik. Andra områden som studeras är hur man kan minska skadliga vibrationer under bearbetningen. Här studeras även hur man effektivt kan föra ut detta kunnande till industrin, bland annat med hjälp av mobila plattformar som iPhone och iPad.
