Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Linn Gustavssons forskning fokuserar på samspelet mellan människa och teknik. 

Forskare inom människa-maskin-interaktion, med fokus på interaktionen mellan människa och maskin via operatörsgränssnitt eller fysiska objekt. För närvarande ligger huvudfokus på interaktion med industrirobotar, men även andra tillämpningar inklusive maritima simulatorer studeras.

Främst har forskning bedrivits med tillverkanade företag men små serier eller enstyckstillverkning där stora delar av produktionen varit manuell. Vi arbetar med hur dessa företag kan förändra och förbätra sin produktion genom flexibla automationsläsningar genom samverkande eller interaktiva robotar eller andra tekniska lösningar. Tanken är att låta människan sköta de arbetsuppgifter hon är bra på och utnyttja roboten till de uppgifter de är bra på i ett effektivt samarbetsteam.

Undervisning/handledning

Undervisar i datateknik, programvaruteknik, vetenskapsteori och datateknisk interaktionsdesign på flera av högskolans utbildningar.
